Why won't the platform load when making my selection in Portal?

Resolving Pop-up Blocker Issues on OnlineMedEd

Recently, we've implemented a feature where selecting between Legacy and New content results in a new tab opening with the chosen destination. However, many users encountered issues due to pop-up blockers preventing these pages from opening. Sometimes, it may not be immediately apparent that pop-ups are being blocked, but fear not, we have solutions to help you adjust your browser settings accordingly.

If you need to allow pop-ups for OnlineMedEd, please follow the instructions below:

Google Chrome:

  1. Open the Chrome menu located at the top right corner.
  2. Select "Settings."
  3. Navigate to "Privacy and Security" on the left-hand side menu.
  4. Choose "Site Settings."
  5. Click on "Pop-ups and redirects."
  6. Select "Add" next to "Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects."
  7. Enter the specific page URL and click "Add."

Firefox:

  1. From the Firefox menu, select "Preferences."
  2. Choose "Privacy & Security" from the left-side menu.
  3. Under "Permissions," select "Exceptions" next to "Block pop-up windows."
  4. Enter the specific page URL.
  5. Select "Save Changes."

Safari:

  1. From the Safari menu, select "Preferences."
  2. Choose "Pop-up Windows" from the left-side menu.
  3. From the "when visiting other websites" drop-down menu, select "Allow" to allow all pop-ups from all websites.
  4. Alternatively, select "Block and Notify" to receive a notification whenever a pop-up has been blocked. You can then allow exceptions as needed.

Microsoft Edge:

  1. Open the main menu located at the top right corner of the window.
  2. Select "Settings."
  3. Choose "Cookies and site permissions."
  4. Select "Pop-ups and redirects."
  5. Next to "Allow," click "Add."
  6. Enter the specific page URL.
  7. Click "Add."

If following these instructions does not resolve your issue, it's possible that a third-party pop-up blocker is in use. As a potential workaround, try holding down the CTRL or Shift key on your keyboard while attempting to open the specific page.
